Yes!  James made the decision to reveal that he was Satoshi on October 31, 2024 by posting via a Telegram group impromptu video.  His apprehension and sincerity were highly evident during the quick four minute video realizing the gravity of his disclosure and the fact that he can “no longer” go back to “living in the shadows” after this.
